Connecting to the Cisco VPN Software. 1) To start a VPN connection, click the “clock” in the lower left corner of the screen and click the name of the profile you defined in the “Configuring the Cisco VPN Software” section above. 2) Enter your UO Duck ID and password, then click the Submit button. Only use VPN when you truly need to. Most applications don't require VPN for off-campus use. Lists of which common services do and don't need VPN are available in this page about connecting to UOVPN.
